개요 1994년 4월 19일에 발매된 의 데뷔 앨범. 20주년 앨범으로 Illmatic XX가 발매되었다. 발매된 지 20년이 넘은 지금도 여전히 명반으로 추앙받고 있으며, 힙합씬에서 명반의 대명사로 통한다. 이 앨범을 통해 나스는 순식간에 거물급 래퍼가 되었다. 에서 402위에 랭크되었다. 이 전설의 명반 발매 후 20년이 넘었지만 앨범 자체와 모든 수록곡들은 아직까지도 사랑받고 있다.
